I guess I´ve changed >>something<< ( was looking to fix a bluetooth device ) but, nothing in the grub - bottom line, putting my hand up as a dangerous dummy

OS: Linux Mint 17 : Lenovo: over 120GB free space; memtest is OK;
Boot: black screen, mouse pointer - moves with mouse/touchpad - keyboard active ( caps lock responds, can reboot w ctrl-alt-prnscrn-b )
Boot to recovery mode - OK
Boot from Linux Mint install CD; mount sda1 - OK; can get to usr home; have copied file structure completely to an external device

boot from CD; install & run Boot-Repair - reports completed OK - reboot - problem remains
Boot-Repair info save on USB drive : link - http://paste2.org/j88BO1Fl

appreciate help/guidance so I don´t lose (too) much

Thread moved to MINT.

Welcome to the forums seve2. I've moved your post here as you're not using an official flavour of Ubuntu.
