Hello,
I'm running Kubuntu 14.04 which is on a kernel for which Sophos does not provide binary kernel modules, but does say that the kernel modules have been locally compiled.
Though I did say that I wanted automatic updates, it told me this information first thing post install. I decided to be safe and manually update via CL, and after about 5 minutes it said that all updates failed.
Failed to replicate from sdds:SOPHOS
Failed to replicate from all update sources
Could this be because the binary kernel modules are not provided by Sophos ? Should I even bother with this ? .... I can't imagine it being worth having an anti-virus program that cannot update.
Also, I did verify that Ubuntu 14 was supported, though it is the server version I can't see how the home user could be affected as the Server edition is just calibrated a bit different. https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/118624.aspx
Thanks in advance !
