I just installed Ubuntu 14.04. Before I had Linux Mint for many years.
Actually, now that I think about it, I had this same problem on Linux Mint.
In the file manager, some .jpgs do not show a thumbnail. I already checked the options to 'Always' show preview if the file is below '10Mb'. But it still doesn't work.
In Linux Mint, if I used Dolphin File Manager, all the thumbnails would show, no problem.
Any ideas?
