Well well. My friend Robert W. gave me an old ASUS K50IJ notebook PC and I installed Ubuntu 14.04.2 64 bit LTS GNU/Linux on it and I set it up and configured it for my room mate Lawrence M. He now owns it. He's a first time Linux newbie and I am teaching him the ropes, but he's getting the hang of it. So, Robert W., Veronica C., Lawrence M., and Gerard S. now use Ubuntu because of me and I provide each of them with free technical support and plenty of hand holding via TeamViewer 10 or they visit me at my apartment. I'm spreading the Ubuntu GNU/Linux love. I'm doing my part to supply the hardware, software, and the technical support at no cost to each of these friends of mine. It is a virtuous cycle.

Good Karma on you!
I think that there are several of us that also do the like!

If everyone boasted when they provided a computer running Ubuntu to someone, the forum staff would need to setup a subforum for them all. I didn't do it to spread the Ubuntu love; but, to provide them with a computer to use. It satisfied their need, and didn't cost anything.
