Hi, could someone help?

My alienware 15 2015 has a 980M and a 512gb ssd and 1tb mechanical drive.

Anyone could help recommend how to go about it? which drive i should install on and anyone could help with any potential problems?

I need ubuntu for my course at uni and it would be nice if anyone could just lend a helping hand. Thank you so much!

Most new systems are UEFI, so it is UEFI?

The nVidia 980M is very new, so best to use latest Ubuntu that is available, but you may still need ppas to install even newer drivers to work well.
