Dual Booting Ubuntu and Windows 7

Hello,

I am trying to get both of the operating systems to play well on a system. After the installation of Ubuntu, grub never appears. While the installation of ubuntu itself is working as I was able to boot it using the live-usb.

I've had this kind of problems but that was with windows 8.1, ubuntu was installed but the computer booted directly on windows, without showing grub.

I solved this by booting on an usb key and running boot-repair : http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/boot-repair
