I am running Ubuntu Gnome 15.04 on a Dell XPS 13 9343 (2015 ultrabook) and I am able to use the mouse for 2 finger scrolling, but I was wondering if there is a way to add support for 3 and 4 finger gestures. Specifically, I am looking for the ability to to swipe to the left or right with 3 fingers to go back and forth on web pages. I understand that Touchegg has this feature, but as far as I can tell, it is not supported.

Does anybody have any experience getting this to work under Ubuntu Gnome 15.04? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wish, 'cause that would be pretty aweome. I own a dell XPS 13z myself. I've heard of people using a magic trackpad and being able to swipe in gnome shell, so I'm wondering how they get that to work.

I would pay lots of money to somebody that figured this out...
