Just did a fresh install of 14.04 on a Dell Inspiron. Everything works fine except I am unable to download themes, which I have had before on this computer, but am unable to download anything from noobslab or other website. The reason for the reinstall was the person who did the original instalation didn't realize this was a 64 bit computer. Now I have the 64 version of 14.04. Anyway this is the error message I am getting: "The following packages have unmet dependencies: gnome-cupertino : Depends: gtk2-engines-pixbuf but it is not going to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages". Have done an update and upgrade and check I think through the CLI but did not help. I am trying to download and install stuff i had that worked fine on the previous 32 version. Cannot figure out why I'm having this problem. Any ideas? I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have.

Call this one solved. I downloaded Synaptic, downloaded updates, did a restart and all is well.
