You will get almost as many different answers to this as there are forum users, ie, thousands and thousands.

I'm not a gamer so can't help at all, but tell us what sort of games you like, and I think you may get a lot more useful answers.

It also depends on the graphic card as well as the computer specs and memory.

Give 0 A.D. a try. It's free in the software center.
It's similar to the game Age of Empires

You can preview 0 A.D. here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB4pG605b9A

Also, are you looking for commercial games? There are quite a few games in the Software Center, including games for sale. There are >1000 games available from Steam. Some of them can give a graphics card a workout, if that's what you're looking for. In the FOSS realm, there's Megaglest, Warzone 2100, 10-12 first-person shooters, and more.

You might want to check out http://www.gamingonlinux.com for the latest news and reviews for Linux gamers.

That link is for a domain which is for sale[-(. This will get you the Fedora Games disk:https://labs.fedoraproject.org/en/games/.

Fedora is a good distribution, but it is not Debian-based the way Ubuntu is, and has differences in how software is installed; Steam is a .deb Debian file, just like all Ubuntu packages, and you'll have a headache installing it if you try with Fedora.

It IS you choice, of course, what you do with Linux. The Unity interface uses much more RAM than Ubuntu MATE, which I recommend for a powerful, easy-to-use, and lightweight desktop. The freedom, the choice of distributions, and the ability to choose your own desktop are only the beginning of what is great about using Linux.

I highly recommend Euro Truck Simulator 2. It has tons of customisation options; it can be as easy or as difficult as you like and it supports everything from my humble HD 5450 graphics card to Oculous Rift.

I also recommend Super Tux Kart. 100% free from the Software Centre and an absolutely insane amount of features for a free open source game.

There are so many incredible games for Linux these days, in each and every genre (well, no military-style FPS yet), including games that I totally suck at, like FPS games. Planetary Annihilation is just about the current RTS champ, and yes, the title is accurate; you can smash one planet into another. Other RTS games include Europa Universalis IV, Empire:Total War, and the terrific Wargame series. Turn-based games abound, including Age of Wonders 3, Civilization V, X-COM, Unity of Command (an incredible WWII wargame), Dominions 4\\:D/ (my personal favorite game, period),and many more. Shooters include the entire Half-Life series, Metro:Last Light, Borderlands 2, BioShock Infinite, and a raft of others. Roguelike games (in which the game is over when you die) are plentiful, including the mathematical impossibility of HyperRogue, which takes place on a sphere of infinite size. Many, many puzzle games, from Portal and Portal 2 to the swell Desktop Dungeons and hidden-object games (another genre I totally suck at) also. Lots of horror games, MMORPGs, platformers, godlike, classic, and action RPGs, as well.

You can check out the Humble Store, which frequently has discounts for Steam games, and there are several other Linux game distributors online. Linux gamers' old standby Desura, which preceded Steam, is in bankruptcy and its future is dim.

you say "i am liking game with high graphic in it and game which have story"
well sure if your gpu can! ,you can see in Metro REDUX ,both Metro 2033 REDUX ,and Metro Last Light REDUX.. on technically side ...game fps with story are many, but those metioned will in REDUX really show what max your card can.. on other side nobody mentined Talos Principle, great story, graphic too,Serious Sam 3,mentioned EuroTruck simulator with European,Usa,and unofficial Mediterranean,Russia, and Latin America maps, and IRacing real racing but expensive too ,racing simulator(all racers are real persons),and also many games for children like Book of Unwritten Tales(look on images, drawings, story, book),even one more older not so bad graphic but sort of Story :DDead Island ..i try to put one game in every style of story with high graphics.. and to mention something less known..like maps for ETS2 and iRacing for linux..
maybe you want to give your card bencmark? Heaven Benchmark , basic free edition exist for linux and run fine under Ubuntu from script..and will sure give you some nice graphic and put with all options on,your graphic card on knees!
but really beside bench, really best in teh terms ,for linux, and ubuntu you can see in both Metro REDUX...if you have capable card, and yes its upon story and book. But also i don't like it..but maybe you will.
well i do not know why but most stories are horror type..or childish..except Talos! if you do not like blood, killings, horror, and just shooting with low story, try game what not have all that, but have graphic and strong story ,Talos Principle!(have free demo)

there are no such high graphics games in ubuntu but u can use fedora gaming edition and can have fun with high graphics games. <snip> go through this link brother and enjoyy.. Even though I neither like Ubuntu anymore nor I use it anymore (I do use Arch Linux) that's simply incorrect. Just download Steam and buy and play the games you like! There're many games with a good story as well as good graphics, e.g. Metro 2033 REDUX, Metro: Last Light REDUX, Tropico 5, Dungeons 2, X3: Reunion, Bioshock: Infinite, The Cave, Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2 Complete Story and many more. Not in Steam: Doom 3, 0 a.d. (free and open source)...
