Hi. I am trying to overlap VLC (Since I don't want to have any title bar, top bar; I just want a windowsless player) on another fullscreen application. Is there any solution to solve this ??

Something like this

I have tried fakexinerama but I want something that can overlap.

Your image link isn't working for me. For me, fullscreen apps seem to behave as expected - I can still Alt+Tab between windows as normal. But since I can't see your image, I don't really know what you mean by "overlap." Do you mean that the other window is visible through the one on top in some way?

Yes.

It is something like playing game as full screen. But I can also have a vlc player on the bottom without any title, top bar , border.

0 = vlc
2 = game

And a minimalist VLC skin (https://www.videolan.org/vlc/skins.php?sort=rating) won't do the job? I think you could still set it to Always On Top....

Because I want only showing video without any top-bar, control-bar, menu, or any windows decoration like close minimized.

I want something like dummy where doesn't show anything. but remove the top bar.

Since I am playing a UDP streaming video, although I make a pure video screen and it works for local video. However, when it comes to UDO stream, VLC will open another windows and won't follow the skin setting.

Yeah, I don't know. Prior versions of Ubuntu would allow you to selectively undecorate windows, I think, but I wouldn't know where to begin doing it now with the Unity window decorations and whether or not it'd be possible. And I doubt if there's a minimalist player out there that would give you the same features. Weird that VLC isn't following your skin settings universally, too. = .
