June 15th, 2015, 06:16 PM
Hi everyone,

I am under 12.04, and I try desperately to install a recent scipy version (to be able to use the minimize function).

It drives me crazy!!!! Nothing works out! I tried everything ! pip, easy install, installation from source
Does anyone would have a solution for me ? please ?

thanks a lot,

PS Here are my error messages

Command /usr/bin/python -c "import setuptools;__file__='/home/julien/T\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9chargements/build/scipy/setup.py';exec(compile(open(__file__).read().repla ce('\r\n', '\n'), __file__, 'exec'))" install --single-version-externally-managed --record /tmp/pip-5UOzqD-record/install-record.txt failed with error code 1

installation from the source
