Hi all,
i am new to Ubuntu so please bear with me.
After installing ubuntu I am unable to boot using windows 8.1 .
On rebooting it would boot using ubuntu.

I tried boot-repair . While It gave me option this time. The options were Ubuntu and advanced Ubuntu options (not sure about exact option but it was related to ubuntu)
There arent option as windows or windows 8.1

The output from boot-replair is:
paste.ubuntu.com/11714757

please help !

This thread seems to be solved but needs further probing to know how this has happened. It is strange that Ubuntu install did not pick up Windows installation.

How old is this machine you have Ubuntu installed on? You might have to access your BIOS and change your config in order to boot up Windows 8.1

This was an add-on to a year old solved thread with a different solution and therefore moved.
