View Full Version : [kubuntu] System fonts wrongly sized after reboot

I'm running kubuntu 14.04 as a virtual OS in VirtualBox hosted by Windows 7. After a windows crash, and a kubuntu restart, my system fonts are oddly big. Im my settings I have used Droid Sans 9, the DPI is set to 96, but all the KDE fonts: windows, menus, system dialogs etc, seem to be about twice as big as they should be. This screenshot shows what I mean: the red rectangles show fonts the wrong size; the green rectangles the correct size.

I'm not quite sure what's going on here - it's so long since I last installed a linux system that I've forgotten the tricks required to have it looking good. So any help would be very welcome!

Thanks,
