My old Ubuntu (12.xx?) desktop setup had a 4-screen icon on the left column. I recently clicked the system upgrade button which installed the new version 14.04. Shortly after the upgrade I noticed that the 4-screen icon is missing from the left column.

I used the 4-screen icon to manage my daily computer activities and it had been very useful. I would like to get it back. Please advise how.

Thank you all from a novice user.

First, was tagging this lubuntu an accident?

Second, the workspace switcher is now set to off, so there is no icon, by default.
However you and enable it by going to System Settings >> Appearance >> Behavior >> Enable Workspaces.

Yes, I meant for Ubuntu flag. How do I correct this wrong tagging?

Thank you for the pointer to enable workspace.
