Hello!

So, I'm getting desperate. I was trying to install KodiBuntu, however kept having it freeze when I booted into the live CD or Flashdrive. I could see it come to the window to choose what to do (Install, etc), however the system would be fully locked up and graphics errors all over. Once I couldn't get that to work, I tried just Ubuntu, that didn't work, nor OpenELEC or any other Linux type I could find. It was always the same issue. Freeze with graphics errors.

I'm desperate for some help. No one knows what the issue is over at KodiBuntu. I've Updated my BIOS to latest version, set it to factory default, and checked anything I could think of. It appears to be a graphics issue, so I'm not sure if it doesn't support the GPU that's on the CPU. (AMD Radeon HD 8400)

My specs are as follows;

MoBo: MSI AM1I AM1
CPU: AMD Athlon 5150 Kabini
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1600 G.SKILL
PS: 380W SeaSonic

Also, as a note, I have a 128GB SSD in there currently as well. It has a install of windows on it. That boots up fine. No issues with it at all. (I just don't want windows. It came from another PC of mine and I was just going to wipe it.)

If anyone can suggest something, that be great. I'm new to Linux as well, so I don't know really what I'm doing.

Thanks!

So I got the issue with graphical errors resolved. I installed a spare 9800GT video card I had laying around and now the image is perfect, however the machine still completely locks up when it boots to a live CD/Install CD or flash drive.
