15.04 cannot scroll through launcher bar

Just installed 15.04 in a cleam trial partition and I noticed that I cannot scroll through the launcher icons with the mouse or the touchpad like in 14.04 (while holding down alt) Tried enabling and disabling autohide and result is the same. Can anyone confirm that?

On 14.04, I was baffled to find that scrolling while holding Alt does affect the Launcher, but only in one direction - specifically, scrolling right moves down on the Launcher. (I mean, I have natural scrolling enabled, so it's pushing to the left on the trackpad - but - yeah.) The only scrolling behavior I was aware of in the Launcher was cycling windows of a given application with up and down. I can't find any pertinent Compiz settings for the Alt+scroll behavior. It seems somewhat redundant to me given that the Launcher both auto-scrolls and can be dragged.

What was the original intended behavior in 14.04, and how does it behave now if you try scrolling horizontally instead of vertically?
