i think i'm hacked or have a virus

Hello, I'm under ubuntu 12.04 LTS i use opera 11, my cursor freeze, opera is slow the cpu and rame high, the system crach from time to time,i use rkhunter nothing found,i use tiger i can't upload the file is to big,i'm new to ubuntu,thanks for your help.

So, what makes you think you are hacked?
In 15 years, I have NEVER caught a single Linux virus.
How much ram do you have? How many browser tabs you have open when this happens?

What does using tiger have to do with it?
Upload to where? How big is the file?
How are you uploading?

Run 'top' or 'htop' to see what is chewing up the system resources, google it to learn what it is, then 'kill' it, if it would make sense to do so...
