Hi.
I have read a lot about this system since I bought the HP Pavilion X2. The reason why I bought it was, 1: I wanted an x86 processer since an arm tablet will mostly have to be cracked in many ways to get Linux working on it. 2: Intel never fails in Linux. Well the second reason seams to fail me after all. The general topics on gettings Linux working on the bay trail systems are quite simple, however they are all written for the z3735f model while the X2 uses the newer z3736f model. This one will not boot anything. All I get is a blank screen after the grub selection. I even tried to alter the cmd lines and remove the slash screen in order to get some shell output, but not even this comes up.

Does anyone know how to boot Ubuntu on the z3736f bay trail system? I have no usage for the pre-installed windows 8.
