Just had a newsletter from an online store that I use and had to laugh at their marketing of the AMD X2 Dual Core Athlon 64 4200, it is so clearly aimed at Windows users.
It says:
"Dual-core technology is like having two processors working together, each one taking care of different applications.
So now you can simultaneously burn a CD, check e-mail, edit a digital photo, and run your virus protection - all without slowing down your computer."
I can quite capably do the above under Ubuntu with my lowly 32bit Athlon 3200+!
