Hello

Since upgrading from 14.10 to 15.04 Server, initctl is giving my this error message:

initctl: Unable to connect to Upstart: Failed to connect to socket /com/ubuntu/upstart: Connection refused

Any ideas how to fix?

Thanks

To get the full booting process detail, run journalctl, and glance at red lines (if you have some gui), otherwise use systemctl

maybe you need to update some script https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SystemdForUpstartUsers

Thank You

I didn't realise 15.04 has switched to systemd instead. That would explain it
