Modify Dash to show only working files

I am working on a self project and I have several files coded already plus the tracking file. So how do I modify Dash to show only the files I select to be shown? There must be a file somewhere where I can remove the files I don't want shown in Dash. I am working on 3.13.0-49-generic.

System Settings >> Security and Privacy >> Files and Applications should have an option to exclude and include files, folders, and apps.
