Hi everyone,
I have KDE, XFCE, and Unity desktop environments installed on my Ubuntu laptop. Ever since I installed KDE, all icons and the panel in XFCE are in the KDE Oxygen style, and all window menus are very dark in Unity. Is there any way I can prevent these from being affected by KDE?
Thanks in advance!

You could remove KDE, or possibly just remove KDE artwork, if that exists. That would get rid of themes and icons I would think.

Umm, I like KDE, but I'd like to keep it in within it's own shell. E.g. I don't want it to "leak out" of its own "box"

Open Synaptic Package Manager and search for 'oxygen'. You will find oxygen-icon-theme, among other things. Try removing that, and any others you feel like. After each, perhaps best to log out and in again to see the effect.

Is there some way to just keep the oxygen theme within KDE, or do I have to remove it completely in order for it to not affect anything else?

When you mix K/X/Ubuntu desktops all together, you got to expect what's happening.
Just saying.
