A forum I am a moderator on recently "upgraded" to vBulletin® Version 4.2.2.
Since they did that I have no fields to write in. I can't answer to posts or send PMs or anything that requires typing in the (usual) white box, because there is no white box.
There are a few that are having troubles like this so I suspect it is something the "administrator" has done wrong or incompletely, but I wanted to check and see if there is something I can/should do on my end.

Ubuntu with the KDE desktop

Thanks
Greg

you need to find a way to communicate with the admin: iirc, chat, ...
if that admin is doing its job, he might see the problem himself (you might not be alone with that issue)

maybe try with an other DE (gnome/unity/...) to know if it affect only kde (or only that kde version)

Thread moved to The Cafe.

You really need to talk to the admins there.

It is not possible to talk with anyone on that forum as there is nowhere to write a message.
For all they know I have just left.

Do not you have any other way to contact them as suggested ? email etc.
Maybe make a new user and see if you can PM them ?
Are new posts been made ? If yes > maybe a personal setting or a browser thing, if not > maybe a global thing.

A great percentage of posting is going on compared with pre-upgrade.
It's not possible to tell how many are not able to post because they don't.
I'm one of the few on the board using Linux (that I know of).
There is no way to email

Well, if the only way to contact the admins is on the forums themselves, you are left with creating a new user and PMing. Is that possible ? Is there any other person you could contact to convey your message to them ?

I don't think it has anything to do with my particular account. I can log in with Win XP or Win 7 and everything works fine
So I am pretty certain has to do with Firefox 34.0.....Ubuntu or KDE Pasma

Have you tried updating to a new FF version?

Do you mean that you can post and pm in Windows? It's not clear. Are you using Internet Explorer in Windows or another browser? Do you have any Firefox add-ons in Ubuntu? Are you blocking scripts in Firefox?

I had other problems with FF34, that's is why I suggested you try updating. :p
