So after I tried to my my audio through my usb headphones not working I saw that something was wrong with pulse audio. I went and reinstalled it using this command
sudo apt-get remove --purge alsa-base pulseaudio
sudo apt-get install alsa-base pulseaudio
sudo alsa force-reload
This then proceeded to delete all options from my system settings besides Language Support, Printers, Landscape Service, and Software and Updates. After this I tried to reinstall but my live disk is not working. I will try my usb version later but I am confused and have no idea what I did. Keep in mind that my computer has been acting very strange like deleting/corrupting pulse audio randomly overnight. Please help.
Fixed it never mind
