Shut down issues after hard drive moved from other computer

Hi,

My hard drive died.

So I put another hard drive in, that had Ubuntu on it.

It ran start away. I have done several updates.

The problem is after I shut down the laptop starts up again. Need to pull power lead out to stop it.

Any ideas?

You could also try shutting it down via the terminal with this command:

sudo shutdown -h now
