Hi,
Actually to install ubuntu on a MAC with OSX aside we have to install rEFInd witch is not at all a clean solution.

I've installed recently FEDORA who is actually creating a second EFI partition HFS+ formated who act like a bridge and permit a selection from the Mac Graphical Boot Menu, very clean and functional !
But we all love Ubuntu...

How can i do this but with ubuntu ??? i've tried the EFI ubuntu install but the EFI partition isn't recognised by the MAC.

Thanks

As you have experience with both ubuntu & fedora, and have identified the 'boot' differences, you might want to file a grub bug report to request the same feature fedora do.

Will do, if i find the right differences apart the fact the EFI partition ism' formatted in HFS with Ubuntu.
But maybe it's just that ? How can I know this ?
