Hi, I was using Ubuntu 14.04 for while without having any issues/crashes until recently when I used Ubuntu Tweak to safely cleanup old kernels, Apt cache, obsolete packages. It cleaned up, but unfortunately after that my system crashes often - even after multiple reboots. It is not allowing to do right click in Desktop nor allowing to change Desktop theme/wallpaper from System Settings. I did once again Ubuntu-desktop and unity installation, but it didn't help.
Is there a way to recover?
thanks

This is very little information to base any recommendation on. If that was my problem, i'd want to decide:
Is it worth going for the hassle of a fine grained diagnosis (a.k.a. dmesg, syslog, and so on), or would that be just a slow, painful and cumbersome process und take too long?
Other options could be: restore to an earlier state from backup
or
create a backup and reinstall (this time without tweaking ;-)
...
Anyway: you'll have to decide...
