I have a really annoying problem where my keyboard isn't responding properly, it won't register keystrokes or it won't register when I release a key. This only happens when I am developing using Eclipse or Intellij Idea and have a tomcat instance running, Eclipse/Intellij Idea and tomcat use a lot of memory and they are all Java applications. So i have this feeling it has something to do with Java (running OpenJDK 1.7, tried Oracle JDK 7 and 8 didn't make any difference). When the keyboard 'lag' is happening and I look at my system monitor all my cpu cores are almost idle and I have 60% of my 16gb ram free. So it doesn't look like my system is running out of resources.
Is there anyone that also has experienced this problem, or can point me in a direction where to look for a solution?
