View Full Version : [SOLVED] 14.04.2 LTS Lost Control of System Settings: missing components

Don't see system settings: missing components. About This Computer is not shown no more. See Attachment. Not sure what to do? Planning to overwrite it with Classic Menu Indicator.
Someone have an idea how to fix this? Thanks for changing the boot up image: A+

Thanks God we have Synaptic. When I do a new installation I tend to erase too many things, but Synaptic keeps a record of that. So, in Synaptic I reinstall things that I previously uninstall. Unity was among that. Reboot the machine and the desktop environment when back to normal.
