Each time I try to install a new package in my 14.04 Ubuntu x64, I get:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package vim-gnome is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
I end up downloading the package manually from the web site, as well as any dependencies. How can i make apt-get work?
