View Full Version : [SOLVED] Mouse Cursor not consistent

So I've decided to give Ubuntu GNOME a go and see how Gnome 3 works for my needs. My first goal is always customization on any Linux install. Admittedly there's less that needs doing in Gnome for my tastes.

I've been messing around with cursor themes and love quite a few of them. The problem I'm having is that the theme is not consistent across all windows. For example when my mouse travels over the Chrome window it turns into a basic black again. Same with a few other applications. I have my cursor theme placed into /usr/share/icons. Do they need to be in a more root location or something? Thanks :)

Any downloaded cursor theme must also be installed to alternatives and set as the x-cursor-theme in alternatives to be consistent.
