ive tried for a while now in ubuntu 12.04 lts to try and get the vsync to work, and i cant get it, ive spent countless hours searching google to try and find a solution and for every [solved] thread that i find i try what it say's and get nothing,
ive dont it all from changing my powerizer settings in nvidia to adding the lines to the environment folder and still get nothing at all
ive done compiz,
ive installed every update i can, but still nothing happens,
i dont want to upgrade to ubuntu 14, ive found it to be laggy and the unity 3d isnt built for my nvidia card
any one have any solutions to this? im sick of watching youtube videos and playing killing floor as my screen rips in half,

which nvidia card/chipset ? which nvidia driver is installed ? is it different if you set 'nouveau' as the default driver ? (sudo jockey-gtk)
