Hi there,
I'm not sure it his is the right section to post this. After have Ubuntu 14.04 installed on a Dell Latitude E6410 and connected a second monitor, laptop screen has gone black and I just can see desktop on second screen. After that, if I restart laptop without second monitor connected laptop screen will keep black after selecting Ubuntu on Grub. The only way for me to be able to see anything on laptop screen now is to select recovery-mode on Grub options and then "Resume normal boot". Note that this way I can't use my second screen.
I have already tried everything on Settings > Display as well (Enable/Disable laptop monitor, Mirror display, Extended display, etc) but nothing seems to work.
Is there a way to restore any possible configuration file for screens or similar?
