I am using a full Ubuntu 14.10 as a combination mythtv backend + Kodi front end, as well as various server processes in the background.
I am running irexec in the Startup programs from the Ubuntu GUI, so I can run some scripts with my remote control. One of these is to kill Kodi if it is running, and restart it. It doesn't work, because irexec needs to have sudo to be able to kill processes. How can I do this?
