Installing Ubuntu on a Freescale i.MX6 mainboard

Hi,

I trying to install Ubuntu on a Freescale i.MX6 basically to run Gambas. I'm at the point of giving up.
The best the manufacture can do, is version 11.04, that is way to old. I got version 12.05 running but I have strange errors setting Xserver up. In I think that I don't have all the correct versions running.
Is there any documentation how to set this up(Ubuntu from scratch). Or something already made for arm A9.

Hi, welcome to the fora.

For an ARM I would choose a light distro like L/Xubuntu 14.04.2.
