New month, new version (beta), and new version of one of my favorite DE (Xfce)! I am running Xubuntu 15.04 beta 1 on my Thinkpad T400, and am loving it. 4.12 (even though the about say 4.10) is really nice, fast and responsive. Xfce has become even more refined.

My theme:
* window decoration - default
* style - Adwaita
* icon set - elementary
* wallpaper - dawnbraker from interfacelift.com (https://interfacelift.com/wallpaper/details/3825/dawnbreaker.html)

Been playing with Manjaro-Gnome for a while and thought I would try the pre Manjaro-XFCE version. Did not think much of the font they used so I added the fonts from Ubuntu to get this.

Running Manjaro out of VMware.

Full disclosure, the only time that I have ever had a Mac was when it was provided by my last employer. Macbook Pro, 15 inch. I kept OSX on the thing as the linux-y type things I needed to do, I could already do. Hardware wise, and touchpad wise, it was by far the best experience that I've ever had with a notebook of any kind. LOL. Granted, my use of ubuntu laptops has been largely powered by what would be considered ancient hardware and old windows laptops, so in all fairness, I'd love to try Ubuntu on a system that was designed for it. Not saying that it would or wouldn't hold up, but just again, in the interest of full disclosure.
