With any phone, you're going to need Ubuntu Touch, not just plain Ubuntu. Read through the linked material to find out what's involved: https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/start/ubuntu-for-devices/installing-ubuntu-for-devices/

I don't think you can change OSes on phones just yet.

You are welcome to try: https://developer.ubuntu.com/en/start/ubuntu-for-devices/porting-new-device/
Flashing a phone is very different from installing onto a desktop or server.
Not for the timid. Might brick your phone. Will certainly delete all your data. May not be easily reversible.

We would love to know how it works for you.
