Hello everybody, some time ago I installed Xubuntu on my laptop, and really loved the way it looks, but yesterday I decided to give it a try to a different desktop, and when i went back to Xubuntu desktop it didn't look the way it should.

When I installed xubuntu it looked like this (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/90/Xubuntu_13.04_English.png) and now everything has changed, the icons, fonts, font color, the top bar, etc.
Any idea on how to fix this?
I've tried uninstalling the new desktop, uninstalling xubuntu's desktop environment, etc... and nothing seemed to work

what does it look like now ? sounds like you just need to go into appearance & make some changes.

It looks like a mixture of this strange new look and the old dark top bar
