Folks,
I've downloaded the iso file and from it created a dvd. However, when I try to install it on my laptop (new partition without format created), I get the message:
This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU:
pae
Unable to boot - please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.

I have read several posts that describe how to set up a fakepae, however, since I don't have a previous version on my laptop I cannot open a terminal to enter the appropriate code.

Does anyone know how I can go about getting xubuntu to install on this laptop?

Regards,

Bob
