I am using xubuntu 32bit and since the latest software update on 14.4 I have lost sound completely on all applications including Skype. The sound settings on Skype are set to Pulse Audio Server (local) and I do not recall this as the previous setting. I have tried all combinations on the Pulse audio volume control to no avail.
Also, when downloading jpeg photos from my mobile phone they are greyed out. I did not have this problem prior to the software update.
Could someone more technically able than me please help.):P
