My laptop's screen no longer works. It runs ubuntu 14.04. I use hdmi to connect to my projector to watch videos. Suddenly it stopped connecting to wifi. After trying everything else, I intend to freshly install Ubuntu, but the problem is, since the monitor does not work, there is no way to proceed with installation steps because there is no way to see!
So, is it possible to do some kind of "factory reset" and connect to wifi afresh? Thanks!

No factory reset.
It is, however, amazing just how many such connection problems are completely fixed by merely power-cycling (rebooting) one or both machines.
