suspend to ram not work on 3.16 kernel

I have notebook acer aspire vn7-791g with kubuntu 14.04 on it.
If i use default kernel (v 3.13), suspend to ram work fine but touchpad don't work.
If i use kernel v 3.16 from kernel.ubuntu.com touchpad work fine, but suspend to ram don't work(it show me lockscreen and not responding to keyboard or touchpad, only reset help).
What should i do to get suspend to ram work on 3.16 kernel?

And I wonder if a better fix might be yet another kernel upgrade to 3.17 or 3.18. This seem to help a couple of people.
