styling of the xfce panel pager (workspace switcher)

Yesterday I found an old thread here about changing the styling of the xfce panel workspace pager.

This works perfectly in my setup here and I am extremely thankful for Toz' instructions.
Now I am wondering if there is also a way to address the border-color of the pager... Can aynone help me out here?

Which GTK theme are you using?
How is your panel Appearance set up?
The border of the pager appears to use the default panel background. Can you post a screenshot?
