Can't install updates ubuntu says package system is broken.

I've been trying to update ubuntu and I won't let me every time I do the software update it says

The package system is broken check if you are using third party repositories. Also run the terminal command apt-get install -f. I've run that command and it doesn't help. How do I fix this problem?

Try opening a terminal and running the following. Paste the whole output here for people to check.

Ok, but now the problem is that I can't remove open office.

Whenever I try to remove open office using


sudo apt-get remove openoffice I get this error
