I have an HP Pavilion Elite HPE that has currently Windows 8.1 64-bit installed.
I want to install Ubuntu 14.10 to replace Windows using a DVD. If I try the "Try Ubuntu" option, it loads correctly.
No partitions are listed on the "Installation type" and I get a crash when I continue or do anything on that screen.
(ubiquity crashed with TypeError in partman_dialogs(): argument of type 'NoneType' is not iterable)
I have tried that F6 option with the nodmraid option and I still have the issue.
What should I do?
