ubuntu installation issue with intel nuc pc

i have two diff issues with ubuntu installation with intel nuc celeron pc.after installation of ubuntu desktop version 12.04 it showing cannot load grep loader,it will not boot like that
and in that desktop version 14.04 ,after complete installation it will not boot and bios detup it never show the hard disk.
plz guide me how to solve this issue, and how to do that bios setting for ubuntu os.

Welcome. What are the exact specifications of your machine, i.e. CPU, RAM? Can it handle a full Ubuntu desktop install?
