I recenlty came across the "World Community Grid" by IBM and I think it's a great idea.

How is this different than the very well known BOINC projects and Folding@Home?

Will be looking into this as I was going SETI@Home and then later folding@home for several years.

edit: Pretty cool that F@H (http://folding.stanford.edu/) is the biggest distributed network in the world AFAIK...
