View Full Version : Ubuntu on mac mavericks, casper/vmlinuz not found

Hello guys
Im new to linux operating system.I downloaded Ubuntu and created an bootable usb driver.I have a MacBook pro Mavericks so i installed refit i did the partition
and tried to install Ubuntu from the the usb stick but when i trick install i get a load kernel first Casper/vmlinuz not found i checked on the internet to find a solution but I'm not finding one so i hope that you can help to solve this.

Which software did you use to create the bootable usb with Ubuntu on it? It doesn't seem to have done the job.
