I've just installed the Elementary OS in my old Compaq Mini 311c. I want to make this netbook available to watch videos/youtube and watch webpages.
The problem is that after installing the SO (which is supposed to be lightweigh) the netbook is not very smooth. The youtube videos struggle and the navigation between windows or aplications is not smooth.
I think the problem can be something related with the nvidia ION card but I don't know how to solve it.
3D aceleration is activated, I tried to disable it but then it is even worse.
Any ideas?
