Hello everyone!

I updated to Trusty Tahr (14.04 LTS) last night, from a previous version of Ubuntu. Since the update process took place automatically, I don't have the iso file of Trusty Tahr. I would like to get its iso file so that I can make a bootable usb stick and install it in a friend's laptop. I don't want to download the whole thing again, so is it possible to create the iso from the OS itself ? I'm new to this field, so please feel free to correct me if you think I'm having any misconceptions.
Looking forward to your replies.
Thanks! :)

You just need to download it.

Also link on how to create a bootable DVD or USB flash drive, Windows or Ubuntu
http://www.ubuntu.com/desktop/get-ubuntu/download

Your install has updates and your specific configuration, so you would not want to use that to install to another user anyway.

And you should have a current copy on DVD or flash drive just in case you need to make repairs.
